- Storytime at North Davidson Library (10:30 am) for Preschool to 5th grade with a take home craft!
- Storytime at Kaleideum North (11 am). Our littlest learners are invited to gather in the theatre for a special book of the day.
- Science Live at Kaleideum North. (1 pm) Included with museum admission.
Wednesday
- Storytime at Paddison Memorial Branch Library (10-10:30 am) Join Miss Stefanie for stories, singing, and more. For ages 3-6.
- Curiosity Cart (10:30 am) or Animal Encounter (11:30 am) at Kaleideum North. Included with museum admission.
- Storytime at North Davidson Library (10:30 am) for preschool to 5th grade with a take home craft!
Thursday
- Storytime at Paddison Memorial Branch Library (10-10:30 am) Join Miss Stefanie for stories, singing, and more. For ages 2 and under.

- Prism Experience (10:30 am) & Science Live (1 pm) at Kaleideum North. Included with museum admission.
Friday
- Storytime at Everyone’s Playground (King, NC) (10:30 am) Join library staff each Friday for a fun story time filled with picture book readings, sing alongs, and crafts at everyone’s favorite playground!
- Barnes & Noble Storytime (11 am) Join for a storytime adventure every Friday.
- Zula Patrol Under the Weather in the Planetarium at Kaleideum North (11 am). Learn about weather processes — not only on Earth, but on other planets in our solar system.
Saturday
- Science Live at Kaleideum North (1-3 pm) Included with museum admission.
Sunday
- Garden Play for Toddlers at Caldcleugh Multicultural Center in Greensboro (9 am). Cost is free but you must register. Sign up here.



Ongoing Events & Activities
- Hungry for Adventure via Lewisville Branch Library. Check out our Very Hungry Caterpillar and take photos of him exploring our community. Make a scrapbook at home or email photos to luntzra@forsyth.cc Call 336-703-2940 for more info.
- Let’s Stick Together-Community Art Event at Reynolda Manor Branch Library from June to August. Take part in our community art event. Using color-coded stickers, we will put together a poster-size collage that will be hung in our branch once completed. All ages.
- Dash Games: Home games August 9-14 & 23-28.

August 11
- The NC Zoos in Town at May Alice Warren Community Center (10:30-11:30 am) (via Lewisville Library). Discussing the importance of oceans and how to keep them safe.
- Creative Button Making at Reynolda Manor Library (11am-12pm). Ages 5-11. Call 336-703-2960 with any questions.
- Kachina Dolls with the Lam Museum of Anthropology (11:00 am) Tina Smith will discuss the Hopi people and the significance of their kachina dolls.

August 12
- Little Cog STEAM Hour at Cognition Davie (9:30 am) for ages 4-7. Head to the Makerspace for hands-on STEAM activities. Tickets $10 for one child/adult pair, $5 for each additional person
- Family Event at Davie Splash Pad (5:30 pm) Email LakeishaFSN@theCFEC.org to reserve your spot. Bring towels, snacks and drinks! (FREE!)
August 13
- 2nd Saturday at SECCA (10 am to 1 pm) Free family-oriented art event!
- Little Innovators at Kaleideum North (11:30 am) This STEAM program is designed for preschoolers and focuses on exploration, play, and discovery through project-based learning. This month’s theme is “Discover Sand.” $5 per member; $8 per non-member.
- Making Miracles Event at Miller Park (12-3 pm) Hosted by Total Escape. Explore a big space and interact with characters to complete different quests and progress through the story. RSVP here. (FREE!)
August 15
- To-Go Craft Kits for Teens: DIY Confetti Shaker Bookmarks. Pick up at Central Library. For ages 12-18.
- Moo Monday Storytime & Crafts at Summerfield Farms from 9-10 am for ages 2-5. $20. Registration required here.
- Big Bang Boom at Carver School Library at 10:30 am. This band shares parent-friendly educational children’s music! Come sing and dance!
- Intro to Improv Workshop at Central Library from 4-5 pm for ages 12-18. Learn foundations of improv and scene building with games and exercises.
August 16
- Summer Movie Express: The Secret Life of Pets at 10:30 am or Scoob! at 10 am at Regal Palladium in Highpoint. ($2)

- National Roller Coaster Day at Cognition Davie from 1-2:30 pm. 5th-8th graders can come make a roller coaster out of cardboard.
- Big Bang Boom at Paddison Memorial Library at 4 pm. This pop band shares parent-friendly educational children’s music! Come sing and dance!
August 17
- Summer Reading Fun at Clemmons Library from 10:30-11:00 am. Interactive musical storytelling using a didgeridoo and drums. For children of all ages.
- Summer Storytime Series at Bethabara Park at 10:30 am. 30 min of stories and songs for ages 2-5.
- Teen Game Night at Hanes Hosiery Rec Center from 6-8 pm. Ages 13-17. Join for games, food, & prizes!

August 18
- Mrs. Cottontail & Friends Yoga at Kaleideum Downtown at 11 am. Read a story, do yoga exercises, and being a special fluffy friend!

- Cold Blooded Creatures at Cognition Davie from 3-4 pm for all ages. Experience some scaly and slimy creatures, including a tortoise! (FREE)
