West End
The West End is the neighborhood most directly bordering downtown, with houses covering the hills leading away from the main hub of downtown Winston-Salem. The historic neighborhood is known for its stately, quirky homes and mixed-style houses, some of which have been converted into apartments and condos. Bernardin’s Fine Dining
High-end dining for the adventurous eater. Seafood and steaks, but also entrees you likely won’t find on any other menu in Winston-Salem like elk, camel, or emu.
Mozelle’s Fresh Southern Bistro
Best spot to take out-of-towners, especially those new to the South. Get the fried pickles and spicy collards. The meatloaf is shockingly good as well.
Hanes Park
One of Winston-Salem’s favorite parks- located across from Reynolds High School and Wiley Magnet School. It has a large playground, 20 tennis courts, 3 baseball diamonds, 2 open fields, and 2 walking tracks.

Reynolds Auditorium
A performance space that can be rented for a multitude of community events. They host dance recitals, musical performances, film screenings, lectures, dance competitions and theatrical performances.
