This one deserves a mention (even though we don’t usually highlight chains) just because the pizza is really good!
Located in Old Salem, Muddy Creek Café serves deli food like sandwiches, soups, wraps and salads. They also host great folk and traditional music shows in Gray Auditorium in the Old Salem Visitor’s Center.
A unique playground with a dinosaur theme and interactive dinosaurs throughout. There are several slides and swings, as well as a climbing structure and monkey bars. This playground is best for older children (5+) due to the size of the equipment.
Beautiful winery location that offers wine tastings and tours in addition to hosting weddings and other events.
A fast food restaurant found in multiple locations that is a step above. The food always tastes fresh and the variety of entrees- from hot dogs to hamburgers to wings- will keep everyone happy.
