The historic town of Salem has been preserved and restored – an authentic view of the rich cultural history of early Southern life! Old Salem is such a cute place to wander and explore.

A park off Robinhood Rd.- near Thomas Jefferson Middle School- with a playground, trails, tennis courts, volleyball court and picnic shelter.

Pilot Mountain is an awesome day (or half-day)’trip from Winston-Salem. Its a short drive from Winston and has strolls and hikes with the most amazing views of the surrounding valley.’

Long Branch Trail runs from Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, through Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, under Business 40, to Salem Creek Greenway.

The most amazing park just outside Winston with lots of open space, a dog park, a bed and breakfast, swimming, tennis, softball, golf and horseback riding.

A park off Country Club Rd. that is nestled in a neighborhood. It has a great splash pad, playground, walking trails, large athletic field and picnic shelter.

Take advantage of the gorgeous 7 mile loop that is perfect for running and walking.
